The Pints for Parkinson’s Foundation in partnership with Gordon Biersch Brewery, the Craftworks Foundation and 4th Street Live are honored to host the 4th Annual, Pint’s for Parkinson’s® Charity Fundraiser on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 starting at 5pm. The event is in conjunction with the annual tapping of Gordon Biersch’s Maibock Lager brewed by Beer Master, Nick Landers.

Other local breweries will be uniting to benefit Parkinson’s Center of Kentuckiana – Pints Unite! Featured breweries and distilleries to include Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey, Jim Beam, Sam Adams, Goodwood, Againt the Grain, Ethereal, Fall City, West 6th, and more.

Gordon Biersch will be offering $3 pints of their Maibock beer that evening starting at 5pm, with all proceeds of sales to benefit the Parkinson’s Center of Kentuckiana. In addition, GB and other 4th Street Restaurants including The Tavern, Sport and Social, Guy Fieri’s, and Birracibo, will be donating 10% of all dinner sales.

“Pints for Parkinson’s is more than a fundraiser for the Parkinson Support Center. This is truly a partnership with Jason Smith, Gordon Biersch and Craftworks Foundation. The dollars raised during the Pints for Parkinson’s events has paid for education programs in multiple cities throughout Kentucky and Indiana. Most recently, 200 individuals impacted by Parkinson’s disease attended our 2017 Living Well with Parkinson’s Symposium, which was offered free to the community because of the generous donation from the Pints for Parkinson’s Foundation. We look forward to the 2018 Pints for Parkinson’s!”  states Erika Branch, Executive Director of Parkinson Support Center.

In addition to beer and great food, there will be a silent auction including items such as Louisville City FC BOX SEATS, Two Tickets to the Parkinson’s Center of Kentuckiana Annual Denim & Diamond Gala, Jim Beam Reserve Bourbons and Concert Tickets, Hotel / Dinner Packages, a chance to win a 10 year-old bottle of RIP Van Winkle, and much more.

Jason Smith, GB GM and Pints Foundation Founder is excited to again host this event – “I’m excited to help raise awareness to a great local organization that focuses on the education and well-being of not only patients, but loved ones as well. Having recently been diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s, they are a great resource of information, community and support for a disease that doesn’t always have an explanation.”

Nationally Loved, Jericho Woods RETURNS performing a another FREE concert on the 4th Street Main Stage during the event with Opening Act, Whiskey Bent Boys!

Come join us in the street, toast with Das Boot, enjoy some great beer, great food, and donate to a worthy cause.
