Parkinson Support Center is Seeking Board Members

Over 12,000 people in Kentucky have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, you may be one of those that are directly impacted by this disease or maybe one of your family has been impacted.

The Parkinsons Support Center (“The Center”) is dedicated to supporting those with Parkinson’s disease, their family and community.  The Center was founded in 1999 with the vision of helping people with Parkinson’s and their care partners and families to embrace the future with hope. The Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana connects them to resources, education, and research with the goal to help individuals with Parkinson’s maintain their independence and stay active in their communities so that they may enjoy the highest possible quality of life.

As we continue to have success fulfilling our mission, we have expanded our reach, and we need your help. We are looking for new people to join our board of directors. The board consists of people impacted by Parkinsons and people with simply an interest in helping.  Our Board comes from the business community, medical professionals or people with other creative skills and passion to help others.  If you have business skills, creative skills or organizational skills, we can use your help.

Please consider joining us.
